Brief overview:
Name: The Order of Bael.
Located: The Temple of Bael or in an unknown location in the southern district.
Current leader: Young daemon, name not known.
Former leaders: Simeon Aelius.

Rules:
1. Every summoner is expected to do his duty to serve the god.
2. Killing another daemon of any kind for whatever reason is punishable, depending on the standing of the deceased.
3. Copulation with anyone else than the chosen partner is strictly forbidden.
4. Summons are not to be treated as a personal tool and must only be used with the means to harm the seraphim race or protect another daemon - Not ever shall it be used to protect a seraph.
5. Praying to another god is punishable by death.

Lore:
The Order was formed back when the first summoners were created by Bael who wanted to create a species that would mend the creatures of the Abyssus. With the gift they had been given by the great god Bael, the daemons didnt want it to just go into the hands of anyone. So purebloods and empusas captured the first summoners and trained them to oblige to their wishes, act as a weapon in the war against the seraphim.
These newly created daemons were also quite endangered fast as the marks on their bodies gave them away to the public, resulting in them being killed in fear of what they could unleash on the common people among them.
The few summoners were kept safely in the temple where their different genes were kept safe and through controlled pregnancies, they were allowed to grow once more. At that time, the summoner by the name Simeon Aelius took leadership of the order, vowing his life to ensuring that the summoners would once again become the strong sub-species that it was meant to be.

(Simeon came from a sibling flock of 5 different daemons, supposedly all made for the intent of ruling the sub-species that they belong to.)

Nowadays summoners arent exactly held as slaves anymore, but they are still heavily controlled by the rest of their kind (Simeon), not being allowed into relationships with anyone else than who the order see fit to pass on the genes.

The genes have always been of utmost importance to the Order, more so was the passing of the genes through other races. With several observations have the order never concluded which race would be the best fit for a summoner child, though speculation have revolved around the offspring of a daemon child with the genes of a random species. Its not common for other races than the daemon race itself to carry daemon offspring, as mixing often results in the making of cambions.

Changes:
Simeon was recently killed, but it has never been clarified by who. One rumor has it that he was killed by his wife, who is also the reigning leader of the empusas at the moment, while others state that he was killed by his own. No one is sure what happened and while leadership has been granted to a younger daemon, it's unsure what is going to happen to the sub-daemons. Whether it will stay as it is, or allow summoners to live their lives individually.

Timeline:
1448 BH - The first summoner is made, granted to a pureblood who had gotten Bael's favour.
1253 BH - More and more summoners are born through controlled pregnancies and trained to fight in the war against seraphims.
936 BH - At this point, summoners are used for their abilities and are not really perceived as individuals.
792 BH - The war has ended but summoners are kept in the temple, due their visible marks making them targets for the public.
432 BH - Simeon Aelius takes control of the summoners.
207 BH - Summoners are slowly going through a rough conversion to only serve as a tool. Many summoners are killed in order to root out the daemons that would rebel against their newly assigned lifestyle.
532 AH - After 700 years of oppression and with the change of times, it is decided as a late decision to let summoners regain some control of their lives.
979 AH - The world realizes what's happening to summoners and demand that they be freed. They are, but what's swept under the rugs is that they're still not allowed relationships in order to control the gene.
1500 AH - As the world starts to become more and more modern, all books in the world about daemons are either taken to the temple or burned, removing all knowledge that has been made about summoners from the rest of the world.
2020 AH - Simeon Aelius is killed, by who is yet to be known.
