General information
- A fenix is the creation of the goddess Faeth, and can be born in to any family. It is therefor not uncommon for a family of humans to have a Fenix in their mid.
- A fenix is not a race known for it's long lifespan and usually does not live past the age of 80.
- When a fenix dies it is the job of Faeth to bring them on to their next body.
- A fenix will never have to face the trial of the Elders, and will never be granted admission to either the good or bad place. Their life is a continuous cycle.
- Not all fenix know what or who they are, seeing as they are often birthed into non-fenix families.

- While they are extremely thick skinned, they are very weak against the cold.

Creation lore
- According to the legends nobody knows where Faeth came from, however it is said she sprung from a passionate flame. Faeth felt the judgement of the Elders were too powerful, and she wanted her creations to be free, granting them the ability to live on forever in some way. The first fenix is said to have been molded by Faeth setting fire to a mockingbird, letting it fly until it gained a humanoid form.

Lifecycle
- Pregnancy: Being pregnant with a fenix inside will feel no different than having a human pregnancy, the only difference being that the pregnancy often lasts around seven months instead of nine.
- As a child: As a child a fenix is often described as very happy. The child will often have dreams of flying through flames, but few know what these dreams mean. They are described as being very gentle children, often finding a large amount of friends, all of whom they care deeply for.
- As a teenager: As a teenager a fenix starts to dream more about the flames, and how they can be reborn from them. As teenagers they like to find balance between education and private life, and are often seen as socialites that like to participate in social gatherings. However it is not unheard of a fenix being a bit reclusive, however they mostly long for people around them.
- As an adult: Getting in to adulthood the fenix starts to relax more, finding peace in what life has handed them. However they also learn to embrace the fire inside, often shown as stubbornness and a fierce personality.
- Death: Upon death a fenix will not stand trial, instead Faeth will carry their soul to their next body and the cycle will continue. A fenix cannot access former life information, unless a special ceremony is performed by the high priestess.

Looks
- Birthmark: A fenix looks almost identical to a human, however one thing stands out from the rest. A fenix will always bear a birthmark that looks like a burning flame. The birthmark can be placed anywhere on the fenix, even a place where they would never notice it.
- Eyes: Although a fenix can have any color of eyes, one thing is always described as the same. When staring in to their eyes, it looks like living flames dancing behind the iris, making their stare often look very intense.

Personality
- A fenix is often described as being rather socially adept, however it has been noted that some fenix might prefer a smaller amount of friends around them than a lot.
- Seeing a malicious fenix is quite out of the ordinary, however not something that has never happened before. However the malicious intents will be stopped by Faeth, and the fenix will not be allowed to resurrect upon death. Instead Faeth will hold their souls captive for eternity in a white void.

Strengths
- They are quite social, and have a fierce personality.
- Their immune-system is quite good, most sickness gets "burned" away before affecting them fully.
- Their skin is quite tough, making it hard for most vampyres to even pierce the first layer.
- They have a strong will, and is never the first to back down.

Weaknesses
- They do not have a very long lifespan, most fenix not making it past 80 years of age.
- They can die as any human can, however their skin is quite hard to pierce.
- Their openness to strangers can become their own undoing.
- A fenix is not always aware of their own species, and often believe themselves to be human.

Race abilities
- Resurgence: A fenix can reincarnate instantly after their death, obliteration, demise, coma, etc. however with none of their powers, memories, abilities, etc. they had attained in their lifetimes.
- Heat resistance: A fenix can tolerate very high heat, some even showing no pain when subjected to fire.
- Prophetic dreams: A fenix is capable of perceiving future events in dreams.
